Any suggestion on gift ideas for a one year old boy who has an older sibling (boy as well) with almost everything from toys, books to clothing?

I saw some nice photo albums from Papyrus which I thought is practical but not sure if it would look 'cheap'. We are good friends with the family.

i personally would prefer not to receive photo albums.

the kid might have lots of books already but you can't go wrong with more of them. lots of classics such as the hungry caterpillar comes in a gift set in bookstores in singapore - a book with a soft toy of the main character. i think it always makes a great gift. see if you can find that in HK.
