Does anyone know any established Phonic school for kids and Adults in hk?

Hi,

I am Skywalker Children's Books so thanks for the promotion Katherine! But I have more or less stopped selling Jolly Phonics, I must remember to tell them to take my company off their website.


I didn't stop selling because the product's bad, I think it's very good. But the schools that use it only tend to place small orders, which is no good to me. If they want to place larger orders, they go direct to Jolly Learning in the UK.


Yes, the Jolly Faith Learning Centre does teach Jolly Phonics but that's not all they teach. They used to be called just the Faith Learning Centre. I'm not sure who or what they are exactly.


p-Diana, unless the Jolly Faith Learning Centre is dedicated to phonics - and I don't think it it - then as far as I know there is no "Phonic school" for children or adults, just schools where phonics are included in the teaching.

Also try letterland. It"s very similar to Jolly Phonics, only more targeted at younger children(age 5 and under)

Actually Jolly Phonics is also targeted at young children. p-diana, are you a native English speaker? If not you might find it difficult. I wouldn't describe them as "self-teaching materials" - you need to know how to make the correct sounds in the first place in order to teach children.
