Hi everyone,

Just looking for some new ideas for gifts for my mom and mother in law. If no new ideas, it's back to Handbags, photo frams with the grandchildren in it, flowers, wallets, and necklaces.

Anyone have any updated/interesting idea how to celebrate Mother's Day this year ? It's rare that both "mothers" are in town for us this year ....

We are doing a brunch (buffet) ....

Thanks!

a spa package?

and if your kids are old enough, can they help to decorate a plain photoframe (paint, stick seashells or whatever) with a family photo of everyone? cheap but definitely sentimental, i would love to receive that as a grandma someday!!

how about taking pictures with the grandparents? A multigeneration photograph? All the kids grandkids all put together. My grandmother would LOVE that.

Alternatively there are lots of fun photo gifts on various websites - I do love the gift choices at www.photoworks.com. I made photo books for each of the grandmas this year- they loved them all.

thanks for the ideas.

We did the multigeneration photo session for Christmas. And my kids are just 3 and 1.....

Will look into photoworks...

I don't know if there's enough time for shipping...

thanks!

What about doing a fingerpainting/handprinting session with your little ones ... add a picture of the kids and have it framed?? Too messy? Or see if place like Art Jam will accomodate little kids and have them do their art on canvas?
