A while back on TV they advertised a steam cleaner, a bit like a vaccum cleaner but held water and (according to the ad) it would clean anything - like mildew, mould from grouting in bathrooms etc.
Just moved into a flat that needs a SERIOUS clean, especially in the kitchen around a very oily/deepfried cooking space.
Any ideas?

I bought it. It's a yellow one from the tv channel... about $ 400.00 HKD.
Used it ONCE when I opened the box. Not much use.
If you want to deep clean your new flat, better to call the professional cleaning service, they send 2 people over for 1 day, under $ 1000.00 to clean EVERYTHING, every inch, and disinfects....
Very worthy spending that money.
Don't bother with that steam buggy, it's another thing that is taking up my shelve space.
