Bra Sizes

Here's a useful site. It has various bar size conversions (UK and US seem to be the same). It also has a bra size calculator which I tried using measurements 7" apart, i.e. under 32 and over 39. The size came up as 36C.

I bra fit for VS and they are meant to be the same size as the UK, however they to tend to come up just a tad small.

Also if buying a plunge (push up) always drop a band size and go up a cup, so 34DD becomes 32E, that way everything stays in without the yucky double boob look.

I find that even though i'm the right size as i fit for VS i still tend to buy an extra vup up as their DD's for example tend to be on the smaller size.

Try Figleaves, Bravissiomo or La Senza as alternatives, all seem to be true to size on Bravissimo and La Senza and Figleaves sell various brands.
