Hey Moms, Happy Mother's Day!

Just wanted to give all you mommies out there a shout!


I had two early mother's day gifts this week. My little girl, who will be 3 in July, was successfully potty trained (after just 2 weeks, yeah!) and she told me she loved going to school (was hesitant a month ago).


Didn't really enjoy mother's day the first couple years...was too exhausted. I'm a full-time mom with no helper and a very traditional Chinese husband who wasn't and still isn't keen on helping out.


Now that my baby is older and walking, talking, singing, dancing...just more self-sufficient, I'm really having the time of my life. We had tried for 10 years, by the way, and I couldn't be more blessed to finally have a very active, happy, and sweet little girl.


I love motherhood, didn't know it could be this satisfying although I had imagined it would be. But darn, how I wish the constant feeling of guilt that I'm not doing enough as a mom and all that second-guessing would go away!


Ok, I can go on and on. Just wanted to share. Care to share your thoughts on motherhood, anyone?


By the way, I'm not a regular contributor to this forum but I often come in here for advice from you ladies. You gals rock, especially the regular ones, and you know who you are (too many to name). Thank you so much, ladies.
