Yes, that's the beauty of them.

Put them in on a normal cold wash.

well i put the cloth book in the machine... but it's one of those ones with foam padding inside... so it came out all clumpy. just as i suspected! but my pregnant brain wanted to do it anyway just to confirm it couldn't be washed. ha ha.
