I am heading to Singapore on holiday soon and was wondering if anyone can let me know which international womens clothing/shoe stores are in Singapore that are not in HK. In addition to Esprit and Zara (which we have here) I know that Singapore has Topshop, GAP, Warehouse and Karen Millen. Anyone know of any others?

One of the shopping malls had Oasis, Fenn Wright Manson and some other names within one of the department stores and I stumbled across a Monsoon in another. All on Orchard Road but I don't remember which buildings they are housed in but possibly The Paragon or Ngee Ann City.

You are right. Monsoon is in Paragon, Ngee Ann City as well as Raffles City.

does hk have river island? there is a store in singapore - vivocity
trucco - spanish brand available at robinsons (centrepoint shopping centre) and standalone store in vivocity
there is no oasis in singapore.
monsoon is in metro department store within paragon. ngee an city has accessorize, not monsoon.
fenn wright manson, coast can be found in robinsons at centrepoint.
naf naf - vivocity? not sure...

Thanks all! These all look great. Particularly keen on Monsoon and Coast - these are my favourites. Shame about Oasis though, also love their clothes. Have heard that the Topshop is not that good. HK doesn't have River Island either so will check that out (I wasn't a fan in London but then tastes change when availability is limited ...). Don't get me started on why we don't have all of these great stores in HK as well for fear of disintegrating this thread into a rant!

Hi, sorry when I typed Oasis I was actually thinking of Coast. I thought Topshop had quite a good selection. Don't get me started on why they aren't here either, was in Shanghai recently and they even had Next opening soon! Thanks Haggis for the name of that cafe - I have been there before but had forgotten the name of it. Also love their sister cafe Toast. Fab salads and the same cupcakes as at Marmalade Pantry. Gosh I love Singapore!

PS long shot, but does anyone know the name of the lovely cafe near Orchard Road which is part of a medical centre/hospital? Been there a couple of times and had lovely food but forget the name and the location ...

are you referring to whitebait&kale at camden medical centre?
if cab driver is unsure about camden, ask to go towards the tourism court or tanglin mall or traders hotel....and look out for tall white building!

was going to say if you like monsoon, you will probably like trucco to, it's on the same level as coast in robinson's shopping centre.
