Has anyone tried this buggy? What do you think?

Pros: Super handling, it turns on a dime. Also comes with extras, ie rain cover, travel storage bag, etc. The whole seat comes off relatively easily (but you won't want to do it very often). It looks good too!
Cons: Takes 2 hands to unfold, and is deceptively heavy. There is no storage (which is good since it will keep your buying impulses in check). Newborns will require to use the Maxi-Cosi carseat (but the adapters are included).
If you accept the above, then go for it! There is no perfect stroller, but we love our zapp.

Hi C,
I have the maxi cosi and zapp. Still using the maxi cosi carseat which is fab but heavy, yet to use the zapp snap-in nylon seat.
Have been thinking about buying another pram as the only problem with the Zapp is that the seat doesn't recline. This is invaluable when you are out for the day with the wee one and want them to have a nap. Have you had any probs with this??
Thanks

I hate to sound like there's nothing wrong with this stroller, but do have to say that I've not found the inability to recline to be one of them. My son went thru a phase in between the maxi-cosi and the regular seat where he would only sit in it for a few hrs, and then wanted OUT. Not sure if it was due to the stroller, or he just wanted to be walking, carried, or whatever. Point is that that phase soon passed and now he loves crawling in himself, and has no problems sleeping in it either. Not for hours on end, though, mind you, but for a few hrs when we're out and about.
Originally I did think there may be issues with the inability to recline, but IMHO, given the breaks with changing a nappy, getting something to eat, in/out of the bus and/or taxi, the kid doesn't stay in there that long that there's any problems with napping or otherwise.

I have a Quinny Zapp,I traveled alot with my daughter and found it to be very convenient.
I could push the stroller with one hand and pull the suitcase with the other.
The stroller feels like it is self propelled, it takes no effort to push around and turns on a dime.
Very durable, It has had alot use and it still looks great and it is as smooth as the first day I bought it.
When I bought it I had some parents recommend to use it for children six months and up, but I still had to put a cushion on my daughters seat to help her reach the straps properly.
It was a great stroller for me since I was looking for a stroller for travel. I never used it for long walks when my daughter was small because I lived in Chicago and the weather is cold there 8 months out of the year. Now that she is older(almost 2) and I live in Hong Kong (where the weather permits out door activity)it workes very well for long walks but she doesn't nap much.
When she has taken short 15 minute naps it has worked out great.

I really struggled with which pram to buy before our son was born. My main priorities were lightweight so could be easily folded by myself and be very portable and to be able to have a capsule attachment for taxi rides.
I decided on the Zapp and Maxi Cosi and still think, having had our baby, that I made the best choice for my needs. I definitely reccommend it.
ADVANTAGES:
Lightweight: I agree that it is not perhaps as lightweight as some umbrella strollers, but it beats the bigger prams hands down. I can easily manage it by myself, and carry it with one hand.
Compact: We regularly travel by plane, and this can be taken on board with you and comes in it's own travel bag. I take taxis most days and the frame fits in the footwell of the back seat, where the maxi cosi is strapped in, so I find it very convenient.
Strong: I was worried about it's sturdiness with the small wheels, but mine gets bounced up and down stairs every day and is so far handling the rough treatment well.
Handling: It steers very well.
DISADVANTAGES
Most of these are the price you pay for having such a small pram, so in that sense are worth it.
Comfort of ride: It has small hard wheels, so no suspension as such. I'm not sure if it's because he's used to it, but our baby actually likes the bumpy ride, so this isn't an issue for us.
Storage: It comes with none. I've got around this by hanging a small nappy bag from the seatbelt hook at the top of the Maxi Cosi which is very stable. When it is in stroller mode I have a bag that has velcro loops down the side, so it can be attached to the handle bars, but is secured at the bottom as well, so again is quite stable.
Reclining. So far we just use the Maxi Cosi, so for new born to now {7 months} he has slept in that. Once he is older I gather the reclining is not as big an issue.
Two hand fold. It would be better if they fixed that in the design. So far not an issue for us, as we can just put the Maxi Cosi into the cab or whatever first and then fold the frame, so we haven't had to hold the baby and fold the pram at the same time.

fyi, you can buy a 3rd party attachement for storage on the Zapp if you don't like to hang anything on the handles (risk of tipping). Search on ebay for "zapp stroller bag"
