watching YouTube clips

Can't answer for everybody, but I do have both (a) NOW broadband, and (b) the same YouTube problem. There possibly is a broader issue of the bandwidth available to home users through any of Hong Kong's providers. Despite having broadband, some websites get clogged all the time and take much longer to download than I think they should. The usual excuse: "everyone's using internet at the same time," which might be true but I'm not technical, and wish it didn't happen.

Same problem although not always. One way round it is pause playback for a minute or two depending on the length of the clip, downloading continues even whilst paused. Look for the red line on the right next to the play button, that's your download progress. Now hit play again.

I use tabs and have several load at one time. I load the tab, go to it and pause the video, keep looking for more and then after a few minutes go and watch the first one. Of course it kills tons of time because I often watch more than that one video. But no drinking problem yet....
