Window Blinds - where to buy

Thinking of having a custom made blind for our very big lounge room window. One that we can see through but it would block the sun's rays.

Can any one recommend a shop on HK Island?

Or.....would it be cheaper to have it made in Shenzhen, bearing in mind a local (HK) company would probably install it?

We used Philip Chung 2421 5791 info@newconcord.com.hk. Professional, not pushy, good price, great service.

It would be cheaper in Shenzhen but there is a hassle cost

Hi dasia,

After getting 4 quotes, I went with Cotton House down the lanes in Central - the other 3 places were on Queen's Road East. Cotton House was the second cheapest but the woman was the friendliest. They came round to measure beforehand and installed, and advised me against a particular shade I was thinking of because it would make my living room too dark. They were right.

I can't remember which of the lanes they're in, but you can't miss them - as you walk down the lane on the left-hand side, behind the market stalls, they're about the fifth shop down.
