Hi. I'm going to the UK in June and need to take a taxi between the airport and my destination with my 5 month old baby. And vice versa going back to the airport. This will be the only time the baby will be in a private car- I'll use buses/ trains during my stay. Does anyone know if the law requires that the baby be in a carseat when in a taxi? I know that it's best for the baby, but I can't carry a carseat, stroller, baby and luggage all by myself. I was planning on putting the baby in the baby bjorn and seatbelting myself in. Thanks for your help.

i thought it was super strict in UK that you need a car seat even for taxis?
i heard in australia, you can call for a cab that has a carseat - is that possible in UK?

Hi kilwinning, I'm going to UK in June too and I found a taxi company which provides a baby carseat for your journey. Maybe you want to check this website - I find the price is reasonable. www.londonshuttleservice.com
I will be taking my baby carseat over as we will be driving down to the south.
