I have a mate over at the moment that has been to HK a few times.
Need an idea on where he should go to while me and the wife are at work.
Any suggestions???

without knowing some of his tastes- it's hard to know what to recommend. Some of the hikes in HK are challenging and also fantastic- Maclehose trail comes to mind.
Perhaps renting a bike and riding in Taipo?

for hikes check out www.hansens-hikes.com Mike Hansen does great hikes all around the island and new territories. All levels and happy to accomodate different needs, a vey amiable and pleasant guy full of great information about HK. My Dad went on a couple of walks with him and i joined him for one. Very reasonably priced and he is super organised, met my dad at the airport express and got him back on the bus for the ride home at the end of the day.

Are you sure your correction is any more correct that the original? As Granville Road runs between (as in 'from & to') Nathan Road & Chatham Road South it's a bit difficult for anything to be located in either place as described. From memory aren't they located just east of Chatham Road South and just south of Austin Road?
