I have decent hair, nice makeup but once in a while I feel so much like doing something drastic.
I don't mean like going to a geometric like the early 80's or doing a big perm but just different.
It seems I always end up looking pretty much the same. I have my hair straightened then I don't but it's not big deal since I don't have wired hair anyway.
Have any of you done anything major lately?

You know how we see hollywood stars with makeovers for a part in a movie?? I'd like to have a totally new look like that. Like a whole new person !
My hair is auburn so I'm not thinking of going blond but really feel like doing something cool.

I too feel like I totally need a makeover. I have been having my long hair for years and now being a new mom, I want to have it cut short. Although I don't trust the salons around as they have this "cookie cutter" haircut style no matter how you try to describe the look you want.
Does any of you know where I can find an excellent hair stylist and have my money budgeted at the same time?

Michel Rene is a very reasonalbe place. They moved from Lyndhurst Terrace to an area like Pottinger St. Cannot remember but maybe call 1081.
They are very busy with lots of expats and locals and I had a shampoo/blowdry and was very happy. I need lift at the roots and not old lady bouffant and the gal who did my hair "got it". I will go for a cut there.
You just need to tell them NO THINNING. They love to thin hair here for some reason.

Thanks. I have just called the operator and they can't seem to find the place. They did gave me a no. from TST in Harbor City though. And I have just called and the lady doesn't understand English. =s

Ohhhhhh geez, I finally found the card. I looked all over the internet and also could not find it because I goofed on the spelling it is Michell Rene.
