We brought a US one in the Wanchai computer centre, so we brought US games to go with it. I don't think you can get it in Fortress or usual outlets as it has not been officially released here yet.

I was about to post a new thread on this, a nice coincidence that someone has already started one.
My question - my son has saved up to buy one of these, but none of the shops can tell him whether the Wii Sports pack (with the bowling, golf etc) allows the user to play Left handed. He is a lefty and doesn't want to buy it if the sports games only cater for righthanded players.
Has anyone seen whether you get the option of playing left handed?

Nintendo stuff here is actually more expensie than Oz! Sony stuff way cheaper. Most places only stock Japanese Wii. Wan Chai Computer Centre has US Wii, but generally only modded. It's around 3800 modded, including 5 games (pirated) + Wii Sports (legit) and power convertor. Or something close to that.

It says it only cost US$250 in the States but if one lives in Hk is it better to buy the Jap version?

My apartment (like most in HK) is "thin". Even with a flat screen, the sofa in front of the TV is only a few feet in front of the TV. How do people living in cramped conditions cope with the lack of space and the need to move around for the wii?

There is a shop in star house that sells them.
A friend of mine got one a few months ago and now has a broken flat screen tv, got a bit carried away playing tennis hehe so beware.
