If you only had one day to see Hong Kong and some of the surrounding islands by boat.....which would be the best trip? Prefer something large, not the small open air speed boats.

have some friends over from Oz at the moment and 6 of us took went out on a sampan last weekend from Sai Kung - headed out to Pak Lap, went for a small hike and finished up at the beach there. Wait for a nice sunny day and its a top day out - bring a picnic and your swimmers. We hired the boat for 5 hours from one of the local touts at Sai Kung - plenty around, but our driver turned out to be a good, fun tour guide who we ended up sharing beers with after the trip.
