to find quality swimwear at reasonable prices? It seems unlike for clothes, there are no retail outlet stores for swimmers and forget the markets if you're bigger than asian size. Marks & Spencers have now stopped selling swimwear, so my question goes out to you all:
I am thinking of using a contact in Australia who specialises in quality brands (Sea Folly,Jets, Zimmermann etc)and setting up my own website offering these quality brands at bargain prices. If like me you've been into a number of shops here looking for swimmers, tried on loads but find it hard to justify $1000 ++ for such a small item; then you'll know your size and be able to order online and receive by mail.
I would also look at the feasibility of mix/match sizes. The website would include helpful 'style to suit body shape' guides as well as in depth descriptions and photos of the products.
I'd be very grateful to receive feedback from you so I can gauge demand.

I don't know about Evelyn B's but certainly Ozzie Cossie are expensive which is my mine problem. I'm interested Totty about ebay and am guessing that you're talking about the new english language site? If so I'll check that out...
So I guess you are both saying that you are happy with where you currently source swimwear and happy with the costs....?

Just try on www.ebay.co.uk and you can get a really lovely brand new Monsoon bikini (for example) posted over here for under $300.00.

No. I think it' atit's near The Frnge on the corner there so i would go up the stairs by LKF hotel, take a left and hope i's on the right hand saide of the road.

Have had a look on Ebay and it's not helpful as the brands available are not what's stocked in the shops here so not sure of the sizing. I've never been able to find Sabrina Swims either, been to Ozzie Cozzie and Rush and they have similar stock but very expensive. If there was a site here where I could purchase those same brands for less I would definitely be interested. Especially as the temp gets hotter, traipzing around LKF is not my idea of fun!

Find a swimsuit you like on ebay, then check out the brands website and buy from ebay. Easy.

Also once or twice a year the Hong Kong Football Club has an Australian brand or retailer come and sell swimwear - I am not a HKFC member but have been last summer and the summer before. I picked up two suits last summer for approx. HK1400.

Sabrina Swims is on Wellington Street, towards Sheung wan. It is kind of opposite the Eden Hotel. They have a sign up as it's not on ground level. Unless of course they have moved since i last went there over a year ago.
