HELP, Am I the only one who finds it very hard

to find quality swimwear at reasonable prices? It seems unlike for clothes, there are no retail outlet stores for swimmers and forget the markets if you're bigger than asian size. Marks & Spencers have now stopped selling swimwear, so my question goes out to you all:

I am thinking of using a contact in Australia who specialises in quality brands (Sea Folly,Jets, Zimmermann etc)and setting up my own website offering these quality brands at bargain prices. If like me you've been into a number of shops here looking for swimmers, tried on loads but find it hard to justify $1000 ++ for such a small item; then you'll know your size and be able to order online and receive by mail.

I would also look at the feasibility of mix/match sizes. The website would include helpful 'style to suit body shape' guides as well as in depth descriptions and photos of the products.

I'd be very grateful to receive feedback from you so I can gauge demand.

I don't think there's any problem getting Sea Folly etc. in HK (shop in LKF, some clubs etc). You are talking about $1K for that type of swimsuit, but I thikn I paid a similar amount in Oz. I also buy quite a bit of that stuff from Figleaves etc., again same prices. If you can sell them for much less, then I'm sure that there would be a market. Cannot believe that M&S have decided not to sell swimwear in HK - thought that they'd have a captive market here!
