I am looking to buy a decent espresso machine for my home. Really for just my husband, myself and a few guests we have from time-to-time. We are newbies to the home espresso machine market and we aren't quite sure how much we should spend or the type of machine we should buy in HK.
I've seen the recent post on the Bodum Granos and although it is a beautiful machine I am not sure the machine and the price is for us...
Where can we view a selection of machines to compare features and hopefully speak to knowledgeable sales staff in English?

Mr. Pratt at just-java.com or justroasters.com is a well known person in the coffee community both in HK and worldwide. My contact with him gives me an impression that he's very professional. You can see his home espresso machine offering here.

Another place I think you should try is hkcoffee.com
The website is in Chinese but they do speak English. Give them a call. They are very friendly and approachable.
A week ago I saw Krups XP4020 (HK$980), one of the better entry level home espresso machie, and Rancilio Silvia, a perennial favorite for home espresso aficionado, at the shop. The place is definitely not luxurious; however, you can have a hand-on experience with these machines. You pull the espresso shot, steam the milk and taste it on the spot to see how you like it. You could ask for their advices on espresso and various coffee issues too. Here's the link for the address and contact.

In addition, both places offer freshly roast coffee bean, an essential part of any decent espresso and cup of coffee.
