ive having a problem with my current landlord.
My contract (a regular one)from a real estate agency ,says that i can leave after 12 months contract (what is past already)if i give her a one month written notice. The problem is shes saying that i should have given it at the first day of the month, which i disagree. i gave the letter on day 20 so i wanna leave on 20 next month and of course im paying these extra days of rent.
where can i check if shes correct or not?
thanks

it should follow that the beginning of the lease period would be the so called first of the month.
so if the lease started on the 6th of the month, then supposedly you should give the one month notice on the 6th of the month to be effective on 6th of the following month. if gave notice on the 20th then technically you could end the contract on the 20th of the next month but you have to pay an extra amount which is pro rated or 14 days worth of rent extra.
your landlord is just making your life difficult. unless it is specifically written on the contract, most landlords will agree to some compromise so long as they get money for the extra days. go check your contract again, and try to seek assistance from the real estate agency

No ,its not written its just a standard contract ,saying that after 12 months i need give one month advance letter ;which i did on 20 ;i know i have to pay for those extra days but the point is shes trying to make me pay for the full month, and the real estate agency is not really helping as well.Do u know where can i find a legal basis for what u said above here?
thanks
