Thinking of booking those cheap tickets to Sydney with Virgin this summer. Has anyone flown with them before? We have three kids (including a 12 month old) and usually fly with Cathay but the Virgin deal seems too good to miss.

Yes, have flown with them to/from London, Sydney and on routes to the US from London. If you're comparing economy, they're fine - cannot see any difference between them and Cathay. In Upper Class, I don't like the seat layout when flying with children. The privacy is great if you're alone, but I spend the entire flight peering over the dividers to check on my 2. Beds are flat though, properly flat, not tilted like on CX, so much better for their sleep.
