My 4 month old baby boy has been having bad pooh pooh for a week now. It started with watery pooh pooh 3 times a day, then one time, we took him to a doctor. the doctor diagnosed him to have some virus in his stomach. (he has been sucking his fingers alot lately). So he was put on lactose free milk to stop the diarrehea. His pooh pooh became less watery. Then no pooh for 2 days. On the third day, I put him back on his normal formula, it became sticky and thick (greenish in colour).
However, this morning, his pooh pooh became watery again.
I've just gave him the lactose free milk again.
What's happening??? I'm really worried about his stomach? What can I do?

Sounds like the first thing you should do is call your doctor.
Good luck, I hope he is better soon.

Probably not a lot is happening. Stool can be quite varied in consistency and frequency and not always do we find a particular reason for watery stools. As long as he is fine; feeding and growing well, you could persevere with formula feeding. However there can be reasons for diarrhoea in infants, which you best check with your doctor. Lactose intolerance is common in Asians (be it not at such young age), food allergies, though rare, may occur. A simple stool test may shed some light on the problem.
