Which cell phone in HK?

Just got here and have no clue. Which cell phone company is regarded good in HK and where are their outlets in Central? I don't use it much but would like to just leave a means to reach me open. Thanks.

If you don't use your cell phone much then I would just pick up a pre-pay SIM card which gives you a local number which people can then contact you on (this is assuming that you already have a handset) All of the service providers are decent (PCCW, 3, etc) - I went for Smartone Vodafone and haven't had any problems. They are located on Theatre Lane in Central (behind Shanghai Tang). Point to note is that subsidies on handsets don't exist here in HK to the same extent they do in other countries. If you require a handset then this may mean that a contract arrangement is more cost effective.

Hey - I use Vodafone Smartone. In central several people will speak English and you can buy a Pay as you go SIM card and phone very cheaply.
