Hi Green,
I could not find preemie nappies anywhere here (my baby was just under 2kgs). My midwife suggested using a japanese brand as they tend to be smaller. They weren't much smaller but were easy to fold over at the front as they were much softer (also the tabs aren't as scratchy) than Huggies and pampers. They worked very well. You can get the brand at Eugene club in central or at UNY Taikoo Shing. Orange packet with a baby on the front (I think the brand was Nepia?)
Sorry - not sure where to get the formula

queen mary hospital sells preemie nappies, in k block ground floor. most micropreemies are born at the public hospitals (or sent there right after their birth) so that is where you can locate most of the stuff for their needs.
they will have information on where you can purchase formula as well. call the queen mary and ask to be connected to k10.
glad to know your little one is thriving and home now.

Hello Green,
My baby was as small as yours. She couldn't fit into Pampers newborn, eventually we managed with Nepia newborn. It's tighter and fits her thin legs. I called up Nepia HK to ask them where are the retail outlets.
As for S26, are you refering to the normal S26 milk powder? These should be easily available unless you're talking about S26 for premature babies that they use in hospital? We used S26 human milk fortifier for a while and we got it from the dietician from QM.
Hi Abitnaive,
Most micropreemies are born at public hospitals because they have the best care for them. Private hospitals simply don't have enough support resources or expertise with them. I am a strong supporter of QMH.
