Here's my version (but I know there are many more):
I normally cook the salmon under the griller, but you could also fry it in a pan.
For the sauce, I crush a couple of cloves of garlic in a little olive oil and cook it for a minute, then turn the heat to very low and add some yoghurt (the amount depends on how much sauce you need) and dill, either dried or chopped fresh. Just warm the yoghurt, don't cook it too much or it will separate. Spoon the sauce over the salmon and serve. Easy!

Laieng another variation for you on Dill sauce,
takes one minute to make very simple,
1/3 cup of peeled and seeded cucumber finely chopped,
1/3 cup of sour cream
1/3 of cup of plain yoghurt
2 teaspoons of freshly chopped dillweed
1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard.
Mix all together and your ready to serve !!!!!
NO COOKING.
This method has much more taste and quality to it
as an ex pro. chef this worked for me.
P.S. Dill sauce should not have garlic in it !!!!
but I appreciate we all have different tastes.
