ack! embarrassing cell phone question

Can't find this info in my cell phone manual nor on the manufacturer's site:


To recharge my phone (bought in the US) off of local current, do I just need an adapter, or some kind of transformer too? It's an LG Chocolate. Thank you.

Pls be careful with that. The charger may only run on 110V. To plug it into a 220V outlet may cause the poor charger to melt-down and cause a fire. It should state on the harger, whether it is suitable to use at 220V (often these things give a range of say 110V to 220V).


Otherwise, check with the manufacturer or shops in HKG. In doubt, buy a new charger.
