hi guys,
i am waiting for a reply from my toddler's doc but would appreciate any advice.
my friend SWEARS that when she took her toddler for MMR, the nurse asked if she was pregnant as the MMR is supposedly a live vaccine and therefore potentially harmful to the mother if she is pregnant?
i am pregnant again and my son turns 15 months next week. we are enrolling him in half-daycare in sept so i really want to get his MMR vaccine done by then.
according to previous health check, i have rubella antibodies and i've been vaccinated against measles. i also had mumps as a child. logically then, i should be able safe from any exposure from my son's MMR vaccine?
a long shot i know but any mums in similar situation, hope to hear from you! thanks.

you know - it's funny. I just realize that my #1 had her MMR when I was prego with #2 and the pediatrcian never asked me anything about it - nor did my own father - who knew I had given her immunization. (because I had wanted to delay a bit.)
I'll double check with dad though.
