I'm planning to take my 7 mos old baby to the pool and the beach (we are likely going to Phuket in August). Can anyone suggest what I should bring? What kind of swim floats should I get for under 1 yr old and where? Thanks!

a tropical island like phuket...make sure you have some child-friendly insect repellent too!

a swim hat (those that cover the neck)

a 7 month old will be tired out very quickly in the water so just pick a more shady time of the day and you should be alright...

nappies - huggies swimpants (disposable) or bambino mio (reusable)
