son is 21 months old and he is showing some sign of wanting to go on his own. He will pull down his pull ups and we'll rush him to the loo where he'll do a wee sometimes and look very disappointed if he hasnt done one! Think he'd feel more in control if he had his own potty but wonder what type to get? My gut feeling is a cheap and cheerful one - anyone got any recommendations

we opted for the potty that sits on the ground - thereby allowing my daughter to have a bit more control she can sit on hit herself and whatnot.

now I WISH she would sit on the kind that goes over the bowl - one less cleanup!
