Anyone knows how I can take my cat from Tung Chung to Discovery Bay?


My cat needs vaccination but the vet recommended will not do house call to Tung chung. Anyone knows who will do house call to Tung Chung?

You can take your cat on the DB bus, as long as it is in a pet carrier.

Also, the vet I use, who is in Tuen Mun, does house calls. Victoria Vets 2459 7217

If it's just for a jab, wouldn't the SPCA clinic in Mui Wo do? It's open on Saturday mornings and you could order up a blue taxi to take you there. Anyway, just a thought.

Thanks Claire. I did do but the journey was awful and too long. I would prefer going to DB.


Woder, not difficult, just do not want to break any rules to embarrass myself and had to take my cat back to TC to find other ways of travelling.

Now, how about dogs? Can you take a dog to Tung Chung or Hong Kong side from DB? I know you can get the Mui wo ferry if the dog's muzzled, but what other options are there?

I have a close friend of mine ( A Vet ) currently working in Hong Kong Jocky Club and she hangs out alot in Discovery Bay.... if you need any help from her, let me know... i dont think she would mind to pass by and do the vaccination for your pet...

Mine wasn't so much a vet problem, as an outing problem. In another thread, someone mentioned dog pools out in Kam Tin and I wondered how to get the dogs from DB to other parts of Hong Kong.

The Expat, would you mind pass her details to me at angelalam511@yahoo.com.hk I would much prefer the vet comes to mine to give my pet vaccin.

From TC to Pui o or mui wo is too much to my cat as the road was bumpy.

I called Victory Vets yesterday and they said they will not do house call in TC! :(
