I have a 4 yo and 6 mo girl - besides toys and clothes (expnsive in HK), what are other good things to stock up on?

I have not had children but if I were you I would bring your babies diaper rash creams and things you know she is used to in case you cannot get it here. There are hundreds of products not available in HK so better safe than sorry.

I have to say, we find the quality and variety of baby/child items from the US to be far better than what you will find here. We bring back videos, pc games, medication (including flouride supplements, socks/underwear, and our favorite food/snack items. Aveno products are also difficult to find here, so you might bring those along if you're used to them.

To Green, if by no more tangles you mean stuff, there are several types available in Bumps To Babes.I use a spray on my daughters hair from their, which smells lovely, of oranges.

I suggest bringing items that you are familiar with enough to allow you to become familar with what is available and not available and what you/your children like and don't like. Everyone has different perferences and until you are familiar where to get the items you want in Hong Kong you should have a supply to fall back on.
