how to transfer title to my car

Can someone let me know how I go about selling my car in hong kong? Where do I go to transfer the title and how much does it cost? Does the seller or the buyer pay the fees and do we both have to be present at title exchange? I need all the details! Please help!

Title is changed at one of the transport department offices. Cost is $1000 to change ownership and is usually paid by the buyer of the vehicle. It is always an idea to either go with the buyer when the transfer is done so you know it has been done or take the $1000 and do it yourself. If you don't then you could end up with lots of parking / speeding tickets to deal with. Forms for transfer are available on the Transport Department website as is further information.
