I am trying to decide whether to hold my daughters 5th birthday party on a Saturday or Sunday.
Does anybody have any advice as to which might be better?
Her birthday is actually mid week so it makes no difference in that respect.

Personally speaking as a parent, I always get annoyed when one of the kids gets invited to a party on sundays, unless it is to really close friends where the whole family is invited. Sundays are family days. So if possible do it for the sat.

I'm holding a 4th birthday party for my daughter this Sunday. Reason I chose this day (her b'day is also midweek) is because some parents work on a Saturday and some kids have extra activities or classes (depending on what time your party is as mine is from 1-3 pm). Then I reaslised its Fathers Day but couldn't be bothered to change it. Anyway most of her friends are coming so am quite pleased about that.
Even though Sundays are family days its not always you're gonna get invited.

I personally prefer Saturday. Birthday parties are tiring for both children and parents and I like having Sunday to relax before he goes back to school.
