Hi,
We are considering AISHK for our children but are concerned about the pollution levels around Kowloon Tong. Any thoughts? Any parents with comments regarding the school good or bad (please PM me if not suitable for posting)?
Thanks

Thanks Saikunga, I managed to read your reply before it was deleted! I would imagine that the pollution (mainly RSP) would be much worse in that area than say at CDNIS, HKIS Bradbury etc that are not on a four lane road. I just can't get my head around choosing to live somewhere in HK that is supposedly less polluted eg Southside, CWB, Sai Kung and then you send your child to heavily polluted area with RSP (the one that causes the most damage to health). Anybody out there with kids at the school that has grappled with this issue? My co. will only pay for AISHK hence the dilema.

Kowloon Tong is already one of the BEST areas to live and for studying ( where all the good schools are on Kowloon side).

i am a graduate from the Australian Int. School. the school is great, the staff are very well trained and it is well worth giving your child an australian education. The student are also very nice and have good manners. There is a strong sense of tradition within the school. It has a uniform like most secondary schools to create a sense of unity between the students. I love that school and wish i could go back everyday. The school also provides a wide range of subject later on for your child to choose from. If you want you can go for visits during their school terms on Wednesdays. Or you can visit their website. www.aishk.edu.hk
The staff at the school maintain diciplin at the school. Bullying rarely happened in the time that i was there. I strongly recommend this school.
