Can anyone recommend a tecchy who can sort out issues around the house?

We've been struggling with technology since we moved here a few months ago. Our wireless cuts out all the time as does our internet when we hook in the old fashioned way. Internet tv is shocking and our modem beeps all the time? We need to get our dvd player chipped so we can play local dvds and we need small things done like a pc permanently linked to our stereo, extension leads so our printer can work as a fax etc etc etc
