My darling husband is VERY excited about moving to HK soon, except for one thing. He is an avid collector of vinyl -new, old, anything that can be played on a turn table!
Are there any music shops that sell vinyl ANYWHERE in HK? Ebay just isn't the same!

Right there with your husband, I have 100's of LP's back home, and picked out 50 of the best to bring with me.
Anyway, HMV in Central has a vinyl section, lots of trance and house type stuff, and some new releases and re-issues of classic records (Stooges, Beatles, Hendrix etc.)

Cheers - I'll see how small our flat is before I let him know!

Walls of Sound has a respectable collection of vintage vinyl, from 70s Britprog to old Cantopop (get yer Sam Hui fix!). They're on Cochrane Street (next to the Midlevels escalator), 2nd or 3rd floor, in the block below Lyndhurst Terrace (Pizza Express on the corner).

There are lots of LPs shops in HK. I think HK has one of the highest per capita levels of audiophiles in the world. Hong Kongers love vacumm tube amplifiers and LPs. I've got lots of friends which love vinyl and have no problem buying LPs in HK (evidenced by their huge collections).
