Removing Icy-pole stain from carpet

A coloured icy pole was dropped on our carpet (cream, of course) and used carpet cleaner and then had the carpet steam cleaned. Almost all out but left with an orange stain. Any ideas on how to remove the rest??

Try shampoo - the real stuff - our carpet cleaner in australia -we had white carpets and three kids under 5 told me to do this. It is the stronget but least damaging cleanser in the house generally. Also had a bright orange stain on pale grey carpet and I must say that it faded with sunlight --- a lot of those stains do so if you can let some sun get to it - may help.
