Looking for a good dim sum restaurant recommendation for this evening. Most of the popular spots only do dim sum during the day so would appreciate any suggestions on where we could go to get a good dim sum meal at night.

I was there this week and dinner for 4 was roughly $600 - and we had quite a lot of dishes. The quality of the food at this restaurant is superb.

Any recommendation for vegetarian dim sum place. I am looking for a range of dim sum not just turnip cake and a sweet sour tofu dish.

I have to chime in here on the topic of dim sum on HK island. Don't want to sound like a total hater, but I have a bit of a bone to pick with "Dim Sum" in Happy Valley.
Firstly, I have difficulties going to a dim sum place that is >50% foreigners. There's just something not right with that picture.
Secondly, the food is good, but I honestly don't think its better than some of the other local joints like Jade Garden, City Hall, among others. And the others have a more expansive menu, particularly when it comes to different types of congee.
Thirdly, it is pricey by comparison.
For those of you that already live in Causeway Bay/Happy Valley area, I would suggest checking out Jade Garden on the intersection of Leighton Rd., across the street from Lee Gardens. Although, admittedly there is no English menu...
