I was wondering if anyone out there knows if the tap water in Tung Chung is safe to dink? Ok, I have been drinking in for 7 months months now and have not as yet developed a third arm or suchlike, however I am concerned about hepatitis and stomach cancer-causing bacteria. (I know I sound like a typical paranoid foreigner, but I was very spoilt with the quality of water in South Africa!)
Is anyone able to assist?

Umm...the water in TC is the same as anywhere else in HK. However, as a matter of precaution, we boil all our water at home and we have installed a filter on the tap.

Thanks everyone. Found my answer on this site. The reason I specifically asked about Tung Chung was because I know the buildings here are generally newer therefore the pipes pose less of a problem.
