Flying with Baby - Dragon Air

We are preparing for a Dragon Air flight...

Car Seat:

"A "forward facing" infant car safety seat for ticketed child (aged between 6 months and 3 years) or infant bassinet or cot (that can fit on fold down shelves and can be properly secured) "

We can bring the car seat when we travel only if it fits these dimensions:

17.75 inches (Economy Class Seat)

Good news part two:

I am travelling with a 3 month old and a 17 month old. The 17 month old will have his own seat, so they are allowing me to travel with them alone.

When I make the booking I need to tell them the ages of the children and that one has their own seat.

Also I will tell them I will need assistance from check in to the gate, and when we land from the plane.

Dragon Air will then arrange for this assistance.

I am sure it is going to be insane and crazy anyway, but at least I am allowed to do it and have some help!!

How long is the flight? Don't plan on doing any reading! Make sure you check a stroller and that you can push everything yourself or you may find it difficult in some areas. The staff may not be able to take you through customs. I've travelled with 3 little ones on my own. Sometimes I have to get a staff member to hold a crying baby while I got searched. Other times my crying baby or noisy toddler disturbed everyone, but I got less embarrassed as the years went by. I'm lucky to have kids and am sorry if they disrupt people on a plane, but it's unavoidable sometimes.
