Does anyone know where in Hong Kong, I can buy shampoo products for blonde hair? I was sent Redken from Oz and John Frieda from UK. Both were great, but both have run out and I feel too guilty to keep asking them to be sent out here!

I used Vidal Sassoon from Mannings/Watsons and it works for me. I choose the weighted straight as my hair is a bit frizzy and it helps with the humidity.

I have actually had no luck finding blonde products however I am getting similar results when I use Loreal for color products.

allynz,is the Vidal sassoon specifically for blondes? GreenM&M, is the L'Oreal product a hair dye, or shampoo? I will try both Mannings and Watsons one more time, but I was also wondering if any of the hairdressers would stock them?

Professional Hair Products (I think this is the name)on Wellington Street/Lyndhurst Terrace in Central sells them. I can't remember which brands (they only have a couple)- I bought it for someone else. Kitty the owner is helpful.

marieantoinette,

I have natural blonde hair and during the winter months when it goes darker I get minimal highlights (to get rid of the death look I seem to acquire).

I use L'oreal Power Care Color Shampoo and Vitamino Color Conditioner - both are said to be made for colored hair although, I am finding that it is comparable to the John Freida products that I purchase overseas.

Also, I should mention that I condition my hair (at least the ends as the natural oils are closer to my scalp) everyday but, wash it every 3 days (unless it is too humid like now) then I tend to wask every other day). The water here in HK is different than what I am use to in the USA and find that this approach has helped me to regain my healthy hair - as I have had my fair share of diasters over the last 7 years.

Thanks for all your help guys. I too, have highlights and I noticed that using these shampoos really kept it from going dull quickly, and they also brightened my daughters natural blonde hair. GreenM&M, I also only wash it twice a week (recommended by my hairdresser), but have to protect it from overbleaching in the sun. I did try a haircream by Bobbi Brown specifically for that, but it left it horribly tangled and sticky, does everyone else just use ordinary conditioner or have any hints?

I use Aveda Camomile Shampoo for Blondes and Damage Remedy conditioner, excellent for hair that has been coloured and needs a little moisture kick.
