You could talk to Ferndale Kennels and Cattery, they definitely deal with importing animals to HK so I'm sure they know about export as well. They advertise on this site.

We brought our cat to UK and back. When we took our cat to UK, we didn't use any agents in HK. You can refer to the Agricultural and Fishery website for the relevant documents and procedure. In UK, we used Airpets Oceanic (www.airpets.co.uk) to handle the arrival and quaratine.

Upon returning to HK, we used Ferndale to handle the transportation. Ferndale helped us to locate a UK agent to handle the transportation of our cat.

Josie,

Can you advise how long the process took to once your cat left your hands to when you had it back in you own house in the UK?

Secondly, how much did the whole process cost?

Thanks and appreciate all who contributed.

I took my cat over to UK in 2003 so can only remember vaguely. The process took about 8 months including processing and 6 mths of quarantine. I need to check my cat's paperwork to be able to give you the exact amount but remember the cost of quaratntine per month was GBP290.
