Bali: Beach?

Hi! I will be visiting Bali this August. I have already stayed at the Nusa Dua area. What are the other locations in Bali which have the beach. I am not interested in areas away from the beach and near the rice fields (Ubud?) What areas are near to rstaurants etc?

Nikko Bali. Excellent resort with private beach with just only few steps away from the hotel swimming pool.

Try staying in SANUR. The beach there is lovely and there are lots of beach front hotels there. The touristy shops and restaurants in the area are similar to those found in Nusa Dua.


The water in the SEMINYAK beach isn't as nice as Sanur but the sunsets there are fab and Bali's trendiest restaurants, bars, shops and art galleries are all in the area.


You may consider spending a few days of your visit to Bali on LEMBONGAN ISLAND to enjoy the beautiful beaches there. The island is a relaxing hour long boat ride away and since it is a pretty small island, it is really peaceful and just a perfect place just to chill out. There are very few restaurants on the island but the ones we went to on the beach front, next to the Hai Tide Huts served great food in the most perfect seaside setting.
