Ko Samet or Krabi?

We are looking to go for a week to an island in Thailand. Probably looking at Ko Samet but someone recently recomended Krabi. Any thoughts or recommendations?!

Koh Samui is beautiful, Nicer beaches. do u have children with you?

No we don't have any kids with us. I have heard Koh Samui is very beautiful but a bit more touristy and pricey which is why we are debating it.

We are now leaning more towards Ko Samet or Ko Chang. Any thoughts?!

Krabi is great, especially Ao Nang. Lots of things go and see around that area if you hire a moterbike. Plus has some fantastic small islands abt 30mins away. Good beaches and rock climbing.
