What bird?

What is the bird that has a wolf whistle--like an American construction worker would make for a pretty girl?

Upland sandpipers have that natural call, and c*ckatiels are good at it too once they hear it.

Thanks, maybe the sandpipers but this call is NOT our local c*ckatiels!

I know. It's maddening even if you're an animal lover. I've actually moved from mid levels because I could not take the sound anymore

we thought that sound was birds too, but it seems too loud. we were told its the orangutans making morning calls at the zoo. i can't be 100% since i haven't seen it with my own eyes. but, apes making that crazy sound at 8am, seems more plausible than birds.

I thought it was just a Mid-levels thing so the sound from the zoo made sense. Didn't know you can hear this sound all over the island. (Really? on the south side too?) Well, there goes that theory!

Goloh, why when you type in "c*ckateil" do you replace the letter 'o' with a '*'?

Devon: I don't. The Asiaxpat system does.
