Hi there,

This post didn't seem to answer the question:

So which is better in terms of drying clothes. Air vented or condensor? I want to buy a condensor for the convenience but don't know how good they are.

Slammy, I've always had a self-condensing dryer and never had a problem with them. Right now have the Whirlpool 6th Sense dryer, and it's excellent. Dries the clothes really well and no problem with humidity in the room. Emptying out the container is hardly a chore.

I've had both, and I thnk the air vented ones are cheaper and work more effectively. The condenser type also does the job but you just have to remember to take the water out. But if you have a window handy I would get the cheaper air vent type.

Great - thanks for your replies!

As it's a bit tricky to try to vent the dryer out the window, I'll be getting a condenser type. Thanks for your feedback!
