I am currently in China (not working) with an extended F visa every 3 months. I want to know if my parents can have the same visa as me. Can they be my dependants. They are 54 and 60 years old from philippines.

Please reply if you have experience trying to obtain a visa for your parents or if you are a visa expert.

Much Much Thanks.

Working on an "F" visa is illegal. Your parents could get an "F" visa, but not because of any special relationship with you rather than that anybody can get an "F" visa for almost any reason.

Thanks for the reply

I know anyone can get an F visa through an agency which is what we have been doing but lately there aren't any agencies who can do visas for Filipinos who are MALE because of somekind of drug bust in China involving Filipino males. Now i want to know if the immigration would give my parents the same visa as me (dependants visa) if my company were to give them our passorts with the supporting documents.

You need an English tutor. You originally wrote "I am working here" and then you post that "I'm not working here." Are you confused?

In any event, you're parents are not entitled to anything based on their relationship with you as far as Chinese visas go.

ALSO, If there is anyone out there who knows of an agency that can process Chinese visas for male Filipino passport holders, let me know.

Thanks for your reply gdbill.

If there is anyone out there who has more positive answers please reply!!!!

I need these visas done for i have my baby here (10 months) and i just don't trust anyone to take care of her. Family is best for the job.

If you aren't working can you not take care of your baby yourself? Why do you need another member of the family to look after your baby? Although you are looking only for 'positive' responses I think you need to face reality - your chances of getting such a visa are low at best. Even in HK (where I would imagine the visa rules are 'more relaxed') it would be an extremely difficult ask.

Yeah, even in Hong Kong those Filipinos who apply for second visas to enter the mainland are sent back to Manila to apply. This has been going on for a long, long time and isn't a recent phenomenom.

TC, Thanks for your half useful answer. I thought i was the one asking the questions here. My wife works full time and i am in and out of the country doing business. I don't think i can drag my baby along. That's why I need the parents. Thanks though. I finally found a way to do it through an agency. My parents will have the same visa as me as long as i provide some documents from the company who does my visa.

My apologies if I made some inappropriate assumptions etc. But no apologies for asking questions that could elicit more helpful information when trying to answer your original question. (Always best to give as much relevant information as possible when asking for advice in specific situations.) Good luck with the application, but remember that it's not the agency who makes the rules or the decisions - it's the government. It might be good to check that the agency doesn't get paid if the application is unsuccessful.
