Just got offered a job there..was wondering if anyone on the forum has been there or better still-lived there? Wld like some tips, advice about the place.

Not personally but did have a friend who lived there for a while about a decade ago. At the time I determined I would never go near the place. Hope someone comes up with a more recent comment. Good luck.

We were there in 2005 and it is such a beautiful place. I have been going to Kenya since I was a child as my grandparents lived out in Nairobi. Its certainly a lot better now than 20 years ago too.

We were down in Galu beach in 2005 which is about 40km south of Mombasa, it is stunning.
