I did the same thing for my helper but with Cathay Pacific. I purchased their DH specials to Manila.
CX was worse. CX's website says they need to see the ACTUAL credit card, not a copy.
I thought it was ridiculous because her flight was at 8:00 am... and she was heading to the airport around 5:00am, I read this clause on the website, and I complained.
At the end,my helper just brought her Contract to show them. I called them and explained the point of buying a ticket ONLINE and e-ticket for my helper is so I DID NOT have to go to the airport with her.
They accepted the contract as a proof of my identity and accepted the credit card payment, thus the name of the credit card given has to match the contract.
Don't know if it applies to Cebu Air. You can definitely call them.
Another friend said, she made a copy of her credit card front and back, and put COPY with slashes all over it, then with the contract too. Asked her helper to show it at the check in counter, and MAKE SURE to destroy the copy of the credit card after verification.
It worked too.

I've done it twice for my helper with Cebu Pacific and twice I completely forgot to give her a copy and she hasn't had a problem.

thanks for all the replies. i have found the solution... considering her flight was at 1am in the morning i was not about to go to the airport. anyways, it seems with most e tickets purchased with most airlines you can go a few days ahead to their office--- cathay or cebu and show them the card. they verify it and then put remarks in the computer and no further verfication is needed.thanks for all the advice
