Hi,
I am buying a second hand car from a private party. Have no clue what to do. Please help.
Where do I go to get the car checked, Where to process paperwork, Insurance???? HELP!

Kwiksure are pretty good for insur 31132112. If you have previous 'no claim history' from your last car (in your own country) you will reduce the rates significantly. The car will have to have a road test (i used Motormech - but there are plenty of garages that can do this), then you take the road test certificate, insur to the licensing people in Admiralty / or Wanchai.. pay the horrendous fee, bobs your uncle.. your done

Definitely send the car for check-ups as mentioned above. Get someone u know or knows abt car to follow u and examine the car...used car are quite risky.
